BOSUTINIB (boe SUE ti nib) treats leukemia. It works by blocking a protein that causes cancer cells to grow and multiply. This helps to slow or stop the spread of cancer cells.

· Notes for Consumers: If you drink grapefruit juice, talk to your health care professional. Taking bosutinib and grapefruit juice together may result in increased levels of bosutinib in your body and increased risk for bosutinib side effects such as diarrhea, nausea/vomiting, low blood counts, and/or liver problems.

· Notes for Professionals: Avoid concomitant use of bosutinib, a CYP3A4 substrate, and grapefruit juice, a CYP3A4 inhibitor, as bosutinib plasma exposure may increase.
