This medicine may be used for other purposes; ask your health care provider or pharmacist if you have questions.
This medication is for external use only. Do not take it by mouth. Use it as directed on the prescription label. Apply medication and let it dry for 15 minutes. Do not wash or touch the treated area. Do not do anything that causes excessive sweating for 6 hours after use. After 6 hours, the treated area of skin may be washed with mild soap. Do not use it more often than directed. Finish the full course prescribed by your care team even if you think your condition is better. Keep using it unless your care team tells you to stop.
Talk to your care team about the use of this medication in children. Special care may be needed.
Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of this medicine contact a poison control center or emergency room at once.

Do not get this medication in your eyes. If you do, rinse out with plenty of cool tap water and seek medical help as soon as possible.
This medication can make certain skin conditions worse. Only use it for conditions for which your care team has prescribed.
This medication can transfer from your body to others. If a person or pet comes in contact with the medication, they may have serious side effects. If you cannot avoid skin-to skin contact, cover the application site with clothing. If accidental contact happens, wash the skin of the person or pet right away with soap and water.
Talk to your care team about your risk of skin cancer. You may be more at risk for skin cancer if you take this medication.
If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you can. If it is almost time for your next dose, use only that dose. Do not use double or extra doses.

Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
Store in a refrigerator between 2 and 8 degrees C (36 and 46 degrees F). Do not freeze. Get rid any unused medication after the expiration date.
To get of medications that are no longer needed or have expired:
-Take the medication to a medication take-back program. Check with your pharmacy or law enforcement to find a location.
-If you cannot return the medication, check the label or package insert to see if the medication should be thrown out in the garbage or flushed down the toilet. If you are not sure, ask your care team. If it is safe to put in the trash, empty the medication out of the container. Mix the medication with cat litter, dirt, coffee grounds, or other unwanted substance. Seal the mixture in a bag or container. Put it in the trash.
