This medicine may be used for other purposes; ask your health care provider or pharmacist if you have questions.
This medication is placed into the space made when a tumor is removed. It is administered during surgery in a hospital.
Talk to your care team about the use of this medication in children. Special care may be needed.
Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of this medicine contact a poison control center or emergency room at once.
NOTE: This medicine is only for you. Do not share this medicine with others.

Visit your care team for regular checks on your progress. You may need blood work while taking this medication.
Talk to your care team if you or your partner wish to become pregnant or think either of you might be pregnant. This medication can cause serious birth defects for 6 months after it is implanted. A negative pregnancy test is required before it is implanted. A reliable form of contraception is recommended for 6 months after the medication is implanted. Talk to your care team about effective forms of contraception. Do not father a child for 3 months after this medication is implanted. Use a condom during sex during this time period.
Do not breast-feed for at least 7 days after this medication is implanted.
This medication may cause infertility. Talk to your care team if you are concerned about your fertility.
